Book Frenzy

Here's some of the books I had ordered. Ever since Amazon had this deal with students for free prime membership, I've been addicted to amazon. I kind of went of a book and dvds frenzy. I got them for a good price though.

He's a rapper from Singapore. I think he did better than diddy on this track. lol He have a lot of videos on youtube and I think he have potential to become even greater. Check him out.

It's like fireworks in your mouth!

Red Velvet Cupcake from Starbucks are amazing. I was actually shock because I had so many red velvet cupcakes from different places but this one was the best. It's rich, creamy but you can still taste a bit of chocolate. I don't even want to think about how fatten they are considering the fact that I had the 2 days in a row. What can I say, I love me some good cupcakes.

They also have a vanilla cupcake.

No Strings Attached

This movie is amazing! At first I was kind of iffy about it since you know how Ashton's movies are kind of the same thing. I love everything about it, it's really funny. "It's like having a crime scene in my pants!" lol but go check it out. 

Black Swan

Last night I went to see Black Swan with my babe. I'm not going to give too much details because that would ruin it. All I'm going to say that it was weird. The babe told me that it reminded him of "American Psycho", which is kind of true. They have some similarities. With the sex scenes it kind of reminded me of a boring porno. lol But overall it was a decent movie. I'll give it a B-

TOM toms.

Yesterday I bought my first pair of Toms today. I always eyed them, in a good way, when other people had them on, thought they was different. When I saw that they came in glitter & I heard good reviews about them, I decided to give them a try. I mean why not? 

Plus if you buy a pair they will give a new pair to a child in need.

I must say they are comfortable. With me having a narrow foot & little to none arch in my ankle, they didn't give me blisters or irritate my skin. 

These will be the next pair that I'm getting. Seen them in Neiman Marcus and I was in love! The cost is what I don't love though. $85.00...but I'm glad I know somebody with a discount. :)

Nail Art: Crackle Nail Polish

While doing my daily web surfing I came across Necole Bitchie's article about crackle nail polish. Immediately I become fascinated with this nail art. Doing a little more research about it, I found out that it was popular in the early 90's and I guess you can say that it's making a repeat. What exactly does it do? It creates a shattered or crack effect as it dries on your nails. It can make plain and simple nails look unique and dramatic. Put the polish over any nail color such as glitter, pink, gold..etc.

O.P.I is coming out with a crackle nail polish that will be included in the Katy Perry Collection coming out sometime this month. I personally think this is one of O.P.I best collection thus far. Ranging from a dark plum berry to a electrifying blue. I will be getting them when they come out. If you can't wait for the O.P.I crackle nail polish to come out, there are a lot of different brands on ebay that also have assortments of colors.

Book Selection: Urban Romance

I recently found a Half Price Books Store by my house that have it's own African American authors sections. It was like heaven, all in one place and it was cheap! I bought a book called "Urban Romance" by Nelson George.

I'm still on the first chapter and idk.. It really hasn't caught my attention yet. But I'm not the type of person that doesn't finish a book, so it will keep reading. Hopefully it just take a long time to get started.

I Absolutely love this song. If I'm feeling down, I just listen to this song and all type of  bad emotions go away. Lauryn Hill's voice is very uplifting. She is one of the greatest artist still around. 

Album Review: Rihanna's Loud

I know Rihanna's Loud album been out for a min now but I just got a chance to listen to it a few weeks ago. This album sold around 207,000 in it's first week. I was surprised, the album is very good. Out of the 11 songs, only 2 I didn't like. Very Impressive. This album doesn't just have one range of music either. If you like pop, rock, reggae or R&B then you will like it. I guess I should come out and say I have been a undercover Rihanna fan... I finally said it. lol My favorite songs of the album are: "Skin", "Raining Men", "California King Bed", & "Complicated". This album have whatever you feeling, sad, happy, sexy...etc. Listen & you will see.

I fell for it again.

I feel like a fool. I need to stop being so...i need to stop believing what comes out everybody's mouth. Especially people I care about, if they tell me something like a promises then I would hang on every word they said. I need to stop caring cuz I end up getting hurt like always.

Plans For This Week.

Since i will be leaving friday to go back to san antonio for school, I have to get a lot of things accomplished. It might be a couple of months before I come back to houston. I need to make a appointment to get my hair done. I really want to get a refill on my nails while I'm down here since it's way cheaper, but it looks like I can hold out for about another 2 weeks.

Of course im going to spend quality time with the babe even though we going back to the same place. Houston have a lot more things to do and see than san antonio.

I need to have lunch with my bestie or do something with her before I leave. Also I wanted to get my tattoo this winter break...maybe I still can. The last thing I can think of is getting my puppy the babe is getting me as a christmas gift. Yup I'm excited. Hopefully I can do all of these things by friday...oh & of course shop lol.

yeaaaa...so I was busy around my bday. Well I was busy this whole school year so I didn't get  a chance to post the pics of my 21st birthday. Here you go!

Happy New Years!

This was actually my first NYE celebrating it out doing something with someone I care about. I enjoyed myself and loved the one on one convo with the babe...without all the arguing. lol 

First we went to Grand Lux Cafe around 10pm. The service was excellent and the food was on point. I want to try their brunch selection, but thats for another day. After that we went to First Colony Town Square, where they had music, different type of street performers and fireworks. It was enjoyable. (is that a word?) A lot of people was there...everywhere.

When 12a.m struck I got my first kiss of the new year. lol it was sweet. A night to remember...
