God: Sure

Me: Promise u won't get mad

God: I promise

Me: Why did u let so much stuff happen to me today?

God: What do u mean?

Me: Well, I woke up late,

God: Yes

Me: My car took forever to start,

God: Okay

Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait,

God: Huummmm...

Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call.....

God: All right

Me: And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did you do that?

God: Let me see, the Death Angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that.

Me (humbled): OH

GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

Me: (ashamed).........

God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work.

Me (embarrasses): Ok

God: Your phone went dead bcuz the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered. 

Me (softly): I see God

God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.

Me: I'm sorry God

God: Don't be sorry, just learn to trust me.....in all things, the good & the bad.

Me: I will trust you

God: And don't doubt that my plan for your day is always better than your plan.

Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, thank you for everything today.

God: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I love looking after my children......

Official College Grad!

Whoop Whoop!

Graduated Dec. 17th

The bad thing about it was the fact that I was really sick, to the point where I couldn't taste or smell anything.

The night before, I don't know how many mucinex pills I took.

I was determined to get rid of whateva I had.

Anyways...I did it, but it's not over yet.

My life ended on chapter and now I'm starting on a new one.

I relocated back to my home town of Houston, Tx.

It's kind of weird that I won't be going back this upcoming semester. Reading everybody tweets and statuses about winter break ending and spring semester starting soon gave me a bittersweet feeling.

Fun Times!

So Busy!

I've been so busy these past weeks! 

I had 4 exams within the past week and I have two more next week. Oh, and lets not forget that I'm graduating in Dec. Which mean more stress for me. So i'm just drained and I don't really have time for anything anymore. But I haven't forgot about the blog though, I have a lot of blog post ideas and reviews. 

Now I just got to figure out a time to do all of those things.

I'm also thinking about making a little blog shop where I sell clothes, makeup, jewelry that I don't use.

I looked through my closet this morning and I have a lot of things that I never wore. Might as well give it to someone that will put it to use.

First of the month.

The first of the month is when bills need to be paid, which equals more stress for me. The only thing I need to focus on is rent, but thats half a grand! Luckily I have enough to pay for this month's rent but I really don't know about the month of August. So that means, no more shopping and picking up more hours at work. :(  Times are real hard for everybody, so I can't call my parents. Plus I feel bad because I usually help my family out if I have some extra cash but I don't even have extra for myself. I'm really thinking about them more then my financial needs. At this moment I'm just taking it one day at a time. I know everything will turn out ok... just got to have faith. 

p.s: just got off from work...I'm sooo tired!

Pieces of Me - Week of 5/17

I know I have been kind of m.i.a lately due to school & working. Since school is out until summer school begins,  I have some time on my hands. Instead if summing up my week, I'm going to summer up these past 2...or 3 weeks. & you know what's funny? I started this on the 10th and I'm just now getting to it lol Lets begin...


-1. I got those Betsy Johnson earrings that I posted! Beautiful. & for a good price too.
-2. I'm so excited to be going back home for the weekend. The last time I've been home was for spring break in March.
-3. Remember when I said that my Ochem exam whooped my ass? Well I was wrong! I made a B on that exam & passed the class! I'm just happy that I don't have to retake that class. 
-4. This semester was a good one. My gpa for this semester is a 3.2, which is good, considering I was taking 6 classes. Hopefully I can kick ass in summer school...which reminds me that I need to start applying nursing school.
-5. Since I been gone, I bought a lot of things. At a good price though. Idk if I should do a post with everything or just wait till I wear them. 
-6. Lastly, I'm going to have a new section on the blog. The new section will be cooking/food. I've been meaning to do this for the longest but to be honest I just been lazy to post. Since I'm at the point where I should know more about cooking, I'm going to let you guys follow me through trial and error. Yes I can cook but thats to an extent. I'm going to post recipes that I love and sometimes do meal of the week type of post. 

Graduation: December 2011

1.     The day for me to walk that stage is slowly but surely creeping up on me. For the next of couple of days, some of my friends will be walking the stage. I'm so proud of everybody that started this journey with me four years ago and words can't explain how I feel right now. Every time I see someone I know tweet about graduating I'll smile because anyone that's in college knows how it is. lol I'm happy but so overwhelmed that this journey is coming to an end but at the same time there is a new path to follow. It feels like a just graduated high school!

 I know God have a lot in store for me, for all of us. 

To all the new graduates, It's been a long journey but you made it! 

& I wish you the best of luck in whatever adventures that you decide to take.

Pieces of Me - Week of 4/10

Hmmm where do I start? I guess from the beginning of the week. lol

-1. Remind me to never work on Mondays. That was so boring! But hey, money is money.

-2. Tuesday was my bf's birthday. It was a relaxed day. Went out for lunch that day and then tonight we just came back from Texas de Brazil. It was a wonderful experience. Post coming soon later...

-3. I had my third Ochem exam this week. Well... It whooped my ass. smh I'm just ready for school to be over with.

-4. Omg I had Freddy's steakburgers for the first time and lets just say I fell in love with their fries! It's like Steak n' Shake but their fries are wayyyy better. I will be going back soon.

-5. One day sale! Macy's had their One Day Sale which they have like every two months. I got some nice pieces for a even nicer price. You know I love bargains. A post about that will be coming soon...

That saying been in my head all day. 

Idk why but it's been bothering me. Have I been making my life worth it?

The choices and opportunities that was giving to me, did I pick the right ones? 

Or maybe I should just stop over analyzing everything and just go with the flow.

There's so many meanings behind that saying. 

But hey, life is what you make it...

School School & More School...oh yeah & work.

Time stays at a stand still when it comes to school. Not when your having fun though, which I have rarely done lately. That's why I'm looking forward to Spring Break. I'm not doing anything big, but at least I can spend it sleeping in and seeing my family. I was the type to like going to school, it was fun for me. Idk why but I guess you can call me a geek, but now a days I'm just waiting for it to be OVER. What's the point of some of the classes I'm taking? There is no point. I truly think it's a way for the government to keep us busy while taking more money from us. Even though this semester is not as bad as last semester, it's just so time consuming. I'm just counting the days...

I mean it's a couple of inches but hey I'm from south texas, we don't see snow a lot!

This is prob my 3rd time seeing snow. But we went outside at 2am just to see how beautiful it is.

Plans For This Week.

Since i will be leaving friday to go back to san antonio for school, I have to get a lot of things accomplished. It might be a couple of months before I come back to houston. I need to make a appointment to get my hair done. I really want to get a refill on my nails while I'm down here since it's way cheaper, but it looks like I can hold out for about another 2 weeks.

Of course im going to spend quality time with the babe even though we going back to the same place. Houston have a lot more things to do and see than san antonio.

I need to have lunch with my bestie or do something with her before I leave. Also I wanted to get my tattoo this winter break...maybe I still can. The last thing I can think of is getting my puppy the babe is getting me as a christmas gift. Yup I'm excited. Hopefully I can do all of these things by friday...oh & of course shop lol.

yeaaaa...so I was busy around my bday. Well I was busy this whole school year so I didn't get  a chance to post the pics of my 21st birthday. Here you go!

Happy New Years!

This was actually my first NYE celebrating it out doing something with someone I care about. I enjoyed myself and loved the one on one convo with the babe...without all the arguing. lol 

First we went to Grand Lux Cafe around 10pm. The service was excellent and the food was on point. I want to try their brunch selection, but thats for another day. After that we went to First Colony Town Square, where they had music, different type of street performers and fireworks. It was enjoyable. (is that a word?) A lot of people was there...everywhere.

When 12a.m struck I got my first kiss of the new year. lol it was sweet. A night to remember...

I must say Christmas was fun even though Aunt Dot out of all aunts came that day. :( That sucks! The food was amazing as always. I wasn't expecting a lot of gifts but I had more joy of seeing my parents open their gifts. With the look on their face was priceless. That night we had a lil get together. Everybody that was close to us was there...well almost everybody. Oh & I got my first sew in! Drinks was flowing, food, Taboo, Uno...it was a night to remember. Now lets see about New Years Eve...

My Graduation date is set. It's been almost four years and I will be finally walking across the stage. The more I think about it, the more nerve racking I get. 
Yes, I'm happy but then my mind starts wondering to the point where I'm like, "Ok...what's next?"
Then there's another 1 or 2 years of nursing/ P.A school but I still don't know where exactly I'm going to do my studies at. There's still time for me to decide though. 
Four years went by so quick, hopefully I'll have something to show for it.
